Gardens

You are invited into eight private gardens …

This year’s self-directed Garden Tour will be updated in the Spring of 2024.

In 2023, the Tour featured 8 gardens:  two within the town of Uxbridge and six countryside properties located in Claremont, Goodwood, and the Foxfire community. There was even a 2-for1 garden of adjoining neighbours! The countryside drive covered a short distance south of the town of Uxbridge,  making for an easy day trip, no matter what route you chose to follow.

We are thrilled to feature local artists  on the Garden Tour who have been invited to display their works in selected gardens. There is usually several talented painters creating “en plein air” (live painting outdoors) throughout the day. Many of the artists offer their pieces for sale during the tour and you can purchase artworks directly from them.

Your admission ticket includes a Tour Passport that  provides a driving map and a description of each garden, a Wristband (both provided on the day at the welcome centre). Wristbands must be worn as proof of your ticket to gain admission in to each garden.

Please Note:

  • No pets are allowed
  • All garden properties are non-smoking
  • No food or beverages are permitted in the gardens
  • No video can be taken
  • Photography is only permitted when granted by the homeowner or the volunteer at the garden entrance. Please request permission at each site before taking photographs at any of the properties and respect the privacy of our garden hosts.
  • Children under 12 years admitted free; no strollers please
